Now it’s late autumn already and the last solar term of autumn will come on this Friday—Frost’s Descent (霜降), during which the weather becomes colder than before and frost begins to appear.
Autumn is the transitional stage between summer and winter and the temperatures gradually decrease in this season. As a Chinese saying goes, “Don’t take off your winter clothes too early in spring and don’t wear too much in autumn.” Proper exposure to the cold air may help build up one’s resistance to the coldness. However, the elderly and kids with relatively weak resistance to diseases, and those with cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal diseases or bone and joint diseases need to put on more clothes to stay warm.
iSuzhou here reminds you to pay attention to weather forecast, do physical exercises regularly, change clothes accordingly and keep warm to avoid catching a cold.
