Suzhou Venture Week features innovation and entrepreneurship

The 7th Suzhou Venture Week for International Elites will be held on July 10-12th at the Suzhou International Exhibition Center.

A large number of industry experts from home and abroad, covering a wide range of business fields, will attend the three-day event. They will discuss topics on business start-up and innovation.
The first day of the event will begin with an opening ceremony. This will be followed by the theme forum of ‘Suzhou Dream Factory: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Wealth.’ Well-known scholars and successful innovators and investors will discuss innovation and entrepreneurship ways under the “New Normal” circumstances. Discussions will take place through speeches, conversation, and knowledge sharing exchanges, informal interaction and reviews.
There will also be environmental exhibitions, innovation project road shows, an entrepreneurship competition and entrepreneurship salons.

The second day will feature an award ceremony for the youth elites entrepreneurship competition. Negotiations and field studies will be carried out in districts and counties. Business cooperation agreements will be signed on the third day.

There will be one main venue for the event to gather as many sources as possible for wider cooperation. The 10 sub-venues in districts and counties will feature a certain industry. The new mode will effectively increase the event’s brand effect and the influence of the event.

Local enterprises are encouraged to cooperate with innovative projects to improve their own innovation capability and attract more high-quality projects to settle down in Suzhou.
The government will offer full-scale service to key projects and talent, ranging from policy explanation to facilitating investment. Business apps and WeChat will also be promoted to enhance communication.

Suzhou was home to 2.1 million talent, including 155,000 senior talent, in 2014. It has among the top domestic cities that are attractive to talent and active in innovation.
