Suzhou Ballad, also known as Suzhou Pingtan, is a traditional art form popular in Suzhou and surrounding areas. A museum dedicated to this art form reopened recently after nine months of renovation. It features historical photos of Chinese leaders listening to Suzhou ballad singing as well as their inscriptions for ballad artists. The museum is open for free in the morning and charges 6 yuan for afternoon performances.
